  • Philip has a broad range of experiences gathered from 30 years of involvement in a range of industries with a focus on delivering and assessing vocational education and training.
  • Philip has worked in a variety of roles including as a:
    • Lifeguard
    • Instructor and Examiner of Lifesaving and First Aid
    • Swimming Centre Manager for the Launceston City Council
    • Instructor in public safety for the Tasmanian Fire Service
    • Manager of Training and Development
    • State Manager for Life and Rescue International who provided training, product and maintenance for industries involved in high risk work.
  • Philip has also gained knowledge, skills and attributes needed to support the technical maintenance and up keep of a variety of life and rescue products including gas detection, roof safety systems, and the inspection of personal fall protection components.
  • Philip enjoys finding logical solutions for workplace issues, he respects people’s previous experiences and values their input, and he understands the economical pressures and the flexibility needed in running businesses.
