1200 pm (4 hours)\nCourse Objectives\nThis competency applies to operator
s who are required to wear breathing apparatus for part of their job – bec
ause they are working in confined spaces\, with hazardous gases or vapours
\, in an oxygen deficient atmosphere or for other applications requiring t
he wearing of the breathing apparatus.\n \nAssessment\nParticipants will b
e assessed via questionnaire and practical demonstration of skills. Partic
ipants with literacy/numeracy difficulties or physical conditions should s
peak with the Trainer to discuss alternative assessment approaches. Applic
ants will be required to undertake physical activity to meet all the asses
sment criteria to a satisfactory level.\n \nQualification\nOn successful c
