 </p>\n<p>0800 am to 1200 pm (4 hours)</p>\n<p><strong>Course Objectives</s
 trong></p>\n<p>This competency applies to operators who are required to we
 ar breathing apparatus for part of their job – because they are working in
  confined spaces\, with hazardous gases or vapours\, in an oxygen deficien
 t atmosphere or for other applications requiring the wearing of the breath
 ing apparatus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Assessment</strong></p>\n<p>Parti
 cipants will be assessed via questionnaire and practical demonstration of 
 skills. Participants with literacy/numeracy difficulties or physical condi
 tions should speak with the Trainer to discuss alternative assessment appr
 oaches. Applicants will be required to undertake physical activity to meet
  all the assessment criteria to a satisfactory level.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><s
 trong>Qualification</strong></p>\n<p>On successful completion\, each parti
